COVID-19 Safety Protocols at Alma Rehab
Alma Rehab is keeping you safe by employing rigorous COVID-19 safety protocols. At this time, we know that the health and safety of our staff and patients is of utmost importance. We want to offer our patients full transparency on what we are doing to stop the spread of COVID-19. All of our staff are dedicated to following the safety protocols to protect everyone, and we ask that patients respect the rules as well.
Pre-screening
On the day of your appointment, we ask that all patients fill out a COVID-19 pre-screening questionnaire. Each member of our staff will also complete the questionnaire before the start of their shift
Temperature Check
When you arrive at the clinic, one of our staff members will perform a quick temperature check to ensure that there are no symptoms of illness.
Frequent Sanitization
All high-touch surface areas are sanitized frequently by our staff members and rooms are sanitized before you arrive for your appointment. We use only certified cleaning products to ensure the highest quality of sanitation.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
It is mandatory for all patients and staff to wear a protective mask that covers their nose and mouth at all times within the clinic. We encourage patients to double mask and wear protective eyewear such as goggles or a face shield as well to maximize protection.
Protective Shields
Plexiglass shields have been installed throughout the clinic’s customer service areas to further prevent the spread of illness. To minimize contact, we encourage our patients to pay using a credit or debit card with a contactless tap payment function. If you would like to pay using another method, please inquire about other billing options.
Hand Sanitizer Stations
Hand sanitizer is available at many stations throughout the clinic. We ask every patient to sanitize their hands upon entry and exit, as well as before and after your treatment. Our staff members also sanitize before and after your appointment to keep you safe.
Reduced Capacity
We have limited the number of patients in our clinic to reduce the risk of transmitting illness. We ask that patients do not bring accompanying guests, with the exception of patients who are minors being accompanied by their guardian, and patients who require physical assistance being accompanied by a caregiver. When possible, we also ask that our patients observe social distancing rules and stay at least 2 metres apart from other people.
